The Divine Feminine
The Divine Feminine is at the heart of my work — a powerful, intuitive energy that brings compassion, wisdom, connection and inner strength. For too long, feminine energy has been overshadowed, yet we are now experiencing a global shift: a rising, a returning, a rebalancing. This awakening is reflected in our bodies, our emotions and the way we relate to the world. My portraits honour this rise. They explore strength that is soft, not harsh; courage that is compassionate; resilience shaped by lived experience. Through expressive, intuitive mark-making, I aim to reveal the vulnerability, depth and quiet power that lives within every woman. These paintings serve as a reminder of our shared humanity — the beauty in diversity, the wisdom in our struggles, and the universal energy that connects us all. Each piece carries both the tender and the warrior within, celebrating not just women but the human form not as symbols, but as whole, complex beings. My work is rooted in the Divine Feminine — a celebration of inner strength, vulnerability, intuition and connection. I paint intuitively in acrylics, allowing each piece to emerge through instinctive mark-making, layers of energy and emotional resonance. Figures often dissolve into their surroundings, echoing our shared connection to everything that exists. Each painting carries its own frequency and emotional charge — created not just to be seen, but to be felt. These works speak to those drawn to depth, energy, healing, empowerment - each painting carries its own vibration, celebrating diversity, connection and the universal energy that binds us all.
Based in the UK, I create contemporary portraits and abstract paintings that explore energy, emotion and connection. Working intuitively, my work celebrates the Divine Feminine, human resilience and the unseen forces that bind us together.

About the Artist
Kirsten Todd is a UK-based contemporary artist creating expressive portraits and abstracts that explore energy, emotion and the rise of the Divine Feminine. Working intuitively, she channels colour, movement and resonance into each piece, allowing figures to emerge from layered mark-making with strength, vulnerability and presence.
Winner of the British Art Prize Edding Acrylic Award (2022), Winner of the Galeria Moderna London Invitational (2023) Finalist in the Society of Women Artists Exhibition (2023), her work has been shown across the UK and internationally, featured in multiple publications, and collected worldwide.
Kirsten’s process is deeply intuitive and energy-led, creating paintings that connect with viewers on both visual and emotional levels. Each piece is created with intention and presence, capturing both the seen and unseen aspects of the human spirit.
